A textile sculpture / folk doll. Featuring a hand stitched patchwork skirt, raw edge cotton neck ruff, vintage buttons, pantaloons, embroidered features and knitted hair.

Queenie is inspired by folk art dolls of the past and my own sketchbooks and drawings.

Queenie has a tiny doll of her own, a pointy hat chap.

Not a doll for young children - a display work. Signed on hem of skirt (back).
