A textile sculpture / folk doll. Featuring a hand stitched patchwork skirt, raw edge cotton neck ruff, vintage buttons, pantaloons, embroidered features and knitted hair.

Grace is inspired by folk art dolls of the past and my own sketchbooks and drawings.

Queenie has a removable brooch stitched in vintage wool french knots - (she might also like to wear it as a hat)

Not a doll for young children - a display work. Signed on hem of skirt (back).
